Devika is a builder and a problem solver.

Her expertise lies in breaking down viscous challenges into smaller parts, and building innovative, targeted  solutions that deliver measurable impact.

Bio

Before JSG Strategy, Devika served as the Global Threat Disruption Lead at TikTok, where she built and led teams to combat covert influence operations. She authored the platform’s first transparency report on the subject and collaborated extensively with global governmental and regulatory bodies to counteract disinformation. Prior to TikTok, Devika was at Meta/Facebook, where she directed a team of market experts who leveraged geopolitical knowledge to address complex extreme severity risks. She began her career at JP Morgan Chase, focusing on financial risk.

She is also affiliated with Aristotle University, Greece, where she teaches the course Hard Choices: Technology, Trust, and Safety.The course explores the critical decisions involved in managing trust and safety in digital communication environments, providing MA students with key insights into the challenges tech companies, policymakers, and governments face in balancing safety, transparency, and freedom.Devika’s interdisciplinary research on technology exploitation and mitigation solutions has been featured by the Global Network on Extremism and Technology, an academic research initiative affiliated with the Department of War Studies at King’s College London.
